Jio, Airtel, Vi, BSNL, ACT, Hathway — check whether the outage is real.
Sometimes the internet is broken on YOUR side (Wi-Fi, modem, DNS). Sometimes the ISP is genuinely out. The fix is different — restarting your modem when the ISP is out is wasted effort.
Signalyzr's diagnosis tests reachability from your connection to multiple geographic probes. If all probes fail, it's almost certainly an ISP-side issue. We also surface the carrier-specific symptoms we've seen recently.
ISP support routinely tells customers 'restart your modem' when there's an active outage. Signalyzr gives you proof — a diagnosis run with all probes failing — to push past that script.
Run Signalyzr from your Jio connection. If all probes fail, Jio is down. Also check downdetector.in/status/jio — if other users are reporting issues at the same time, it's confirmed area-wide.
Most last 1–4 hours for software/config issues. Cable cuts or hardware failures can last 12–24 hours. For specific area outages, ISPs typically post an update within 30 minutes.
Indian ISPs typically don't auto-refund for short outages. For outages > 24 hours, you can request prorated credit. Document the duration with Signalyzr screenshots.
Not predict — but we DO see patterns. If your area shows consistently degraded performance every evening 8–11 PM, that's not outage, that's congestion. Different complaint.
