Full Internet Diagnosis

Speed + latency + jitter + packet loss + DNS + verdict + fix. 30 seconds.

This is the full Signalyzr diagnosis. Instead of running individual tests and interpreting them yourself, we run everything at once, correlate the results, and give you a single plain-language verdict: 'Your Wi-Fi is congested' or 'Jio is throttling at peak hours' or 'Your DNS is fine, your router queue is overloaded'.

Then we give you the specific fix for the cause we identified. No generic 'restart your router' advice when the actual problem is somewhere else.

What this measures

  • Sustained download + upload speed (Ookla-grade accuracy)
  • Latency, jitter, packet loss to nearest probe
  • DNS resolution time vs Cloudflare baseline
  • Bufferbloat (latency-under-load)
  • Carrier and ISP identification + plan-aware comparison
  • Wi-Fi vs cellular detection + signal-class assessment

How it works

  1. A short warmup, then a sustained download + upload measurement
  2. Latency probes interleaved with the speed measurement
  3. A packet-loss probe sweep
  4. DNS lookup time benchmark
  5. Verdict synthesis via the Signalyzr Intel engine

Why this matters

Running individual tests means you have to know which test to run. The diagnosis tool figures that out for you — it runs everything, sees the pattern, and tells you the cause in plain English.

Top fixes

  • The diagnosis output tells you the SPECIFIC fix — restart router / change DNS / contact ISP / move closer / wait out peak / etc.
  • We don't give generic advice. Every fix is tied to a measured cause.

FAQs

How is this different from a speed test?

A speed test gives you numbers and leaves you to interpret them. The diagnosis gives you a verdict and a fix. It also catches things speed tests miss — bufferbloat, slow DNS, signal class, ISP throttling patterns.

How long does the diagnosis take?

About 30 seconds end-to-end on Wi-Fi, 40–60 seconds on mobile data. We optimize the test runs for parallelism so it isn't slower than running individual tests.

Will the diagnosis work if my internet is broken?

Yes — we always produce a verdict, even from partial samples. If only a few probes complete, we diagnose from those. If the backend is unreachable, the on-device engine takes over. Hard 'failed' screens are not a possible outcome by design.

Does this work for mobile data and Wi-Fi?

Yes, both. The diagnosis automatically detects whether you're on Wi-Fi or cellular and applies the right thresholds and fixes (e.g., 'switch to Wi-Fi calling' only suggested if you're on weak cellular).
