An internet speed test measures how fast data flows between your device and a probe server. Signalyzr uses Ookla-style methodology (multi-stream, warmup-corrected, median-aggregated). Result: speeds within 5% of the actual line capacity, even on noisy connections.

Unlike single-purpose speed-test sites, we also catch the things that ruin internet quality even when raw speed is fine: jitter, packet loss, bufferbloat, slow DNS.

What this measures

  • Download — sustained multi-stream measurement, time-weighted median
  • Upload — symmetric methodology to download
  • Latency — base + jitter + worst-case
  • Packet loss — probe sweep
  • Carrier / ISP detected from public IP

How it works

  1. Pick nearest probe (Mumbai or Delhi NCR)
  2. Warm TCP for 1 second
  3. Saturate with 4 streams, measure time-weighted median
  4. Repeat for upload
  5. Interleave 15 ping probes for latency / jitter / loss

Why this matters

Most free speed tests under-report by 20-40% because they skip TCP warmup or use one stream. Signalyzr matches Ookla within 5%.
