Internet Speed Test

Real download + upload + latency + jitter + loss — reference-grade accuracy, India-built.

Signalyzr mobile app launching soon — advanced diagnostics for radio signal and deeper cellular insight.

An internet speed test measures how fast data flows between your device and a probe server. Signalyzr uses industry-standard methodology (multi-stream, warmup-corrected, median-aggregated), so results closely track your actual line capacity, even on noisy connections.

Unlike single-purpose speed-test sites, we also catch the things that ruin internet quality even when raw speed is fine: jitter, packet loss, bufferbloat, slow DNS.

What this measures

  • Download — sustained multi-stream measurement, time-weighted median
  • Upload — symmetric methodology to download
  • Latency — base + jitter + worst-case
  • Packet loss — probe sweep
  • Carrier / ISP detected from public IP

How it works

  1. Pick nearest probe (Mumbai or Delhi NCR)
  2. Warm TCP for 1 second
  3. Saturate with 4 streams, measure time-weighted median
  4. Repeat for upload
  5. Interleave 15 ping probes for latency / jitter / loss

Why this matters

Most free speed tests under-report by 20-40% because they skip TCP warmup or use one stream. Signalyzr uses multi-stream measurement with warmup correction to stay close to your true line speed.

Top fixes

  • Speed below plan? Restart router, then ethernet test.
  • High latency? Switch DNS to 1.1.1.1.
  • Packet loss? See packet-loss-fix page.

FAQs

How accurate is this speed test?

Very — we use the same class of industry-standard methodology (multi-stream, warmup-corrected, median-aggregated) that professional speed tests rely on, validated against reference tools on real Indian connections. Expect a few percent of run-to-run variation, like any speed test.

Does it work on mobile data?

Yes. The test uses 50-200 MB depending on speed; we warn before running on mobile data so you can decide.
